Beijing Cultural Heritage Protection Center (CHP) put on a documentary screening at The Bookworm Beijing. New Beijing–Reinventing A City, directed by Georgia Wallace- Crabbe and Gregory Miller, is a 52-minute film telling the stories hidden among hutong of old town Beijing and the efforts made by NGOs like CHP and Memory of China.
A group discussion on topics like the cultural heritage protection and the impact of Beijing's development on its old town and hutong will follow. Ticket proceeds will be donated to CHP.
