"Die Fledermaus (The Bat)" is the most popular operetta composed by Johann Strauss Jr. Set in Vienna in the late 19th century, the operetta is a comedic tale of amorous intrigue and vengeance that takes shape at a bourgeois house and ends in a Vienna prison.

Co-produced by the NCPA and stage director Stephen Lawless, this rendition of this classic opera has a surreal twist. Comic Chen Peisi makes a cameo appearance. In German and Chinese.
